Bryn Gwlad's fall harvest

has been bountiful. Come and share in our celebration September 28-30th 2007
at Castleton. One can enjoy an assortment of small tastes, street
entertainers, puppet show, possibly a variety show at the Curtain. Share
with friends a few hours of merriment, entertainment, and some of the fruits
of our labor. Visit Castleton after dark.

DIRECTIONS to  Castleton :  Take your best route to Hwy 360 (AKA Capital of
TX Hwy) and Hwy 2222 in Austin. Turn west onto Hwy 2222 from Hwy 360 (away
from downtown). Turn left at City Park Rd (the first light). Turn left at
the top of the hill onto Bridge Point. Pass through the gates and follow
road to event site. The road turns to dirt and becomes narrow. Please drive
safely and slowly.

FEAST MENU:
A delicious Anglo-Saxon feast is being prepared .
Bread and butter "Beef y-Stywyd", (a beef stew), Speared Vegetables,
"Leahtrices Wyrtmete", (Green Salad) "Flete Estmete", (Sour Cream Custard),
Water and lemon aide for drinks.


CHAMPIONSHIP: Who is the Best Fighter in Ansteorra at Bryn Gwlad's Fall
Baronial? Tournaments are divided by rank: Non-belts, Centurions, Chivalry
and Royalty. The prize is worth vying for, the accolades will be great, the
renown legendary, the bragging rights: priceless. 

Want to kill a cantaloupe? Stab a squash? Wale on a watermelon? Pierce a
pumpkin with an arrow? If you're tired of whacking Styrofoam heads and
stabbing duct tape targets, come challenge yourself on our IKEqC Harvest
course! WARNING: Vegetable lovers need not apply.


ACTVITIES: Tavern Brawls,Rapier melees, Street performers, Kissing booth,
Merchants, include Bags N' Bodices ,  Cennet Bahcesi Coffeehouse and Lounge
and Charlotte's Web. There will be Musicians, Archery tournament ,
Vegetables of unusual size or shape Contest, Non period pavilion contest,
Baron's men appearing at the Curtain, the list keeps growing

Join us for day of fun and games, specular championships and following the
day's activities, prepare thyself for merriment under the stars in the
Knowne World's only permanent theatre, The Curtain, whereupon The Baron's
Men shall perform "The Comedy of Errors". Ansteorra's most noted troupe of
players will delight thee with mirth and great wit with their production of
William Shakespeare's newest comedy.
