  WHOSE SWORD AT LAST SHALL BEND?


  Greetings Ansteorra,

  You are invited to a grand tournament in Bjornsborg on the weekend of Oct 19-21, 2007.  

  In a land whose emblem is the bear and whose ranks swell with Lions of Ansteorra, the Lady of the Bear field and the Lady of the Lion field vie between themselves for the greater honor, and to that end, need your swords.  The deadline for the letters of intent is October 16, 2007.  They can be sent to our postal address which you will find on the website or to clternus at sbcglobal.net .  We will give largesse to the letter that pleases us most.

  There will be challenge bouts, small melee bouts, challenges between fields, bridge battles, the 4th annual mace crest melee and champions battles.

  The theme for the Arts and Science Competitons is Medieval Beastiary, and there will be pumpkins for carving.
