We will also have some children's activities at Kingdom
A & S, including crafts and games. I have recently arranged for
Don Alaric of Elfsea to teach to teach a 30 minute class on the evolution of
European swords/weapons in period. This class will be geared for the children
but is open to all to attend and ask questions if you would like.
And yes, he will bring some weapons, including some sharp
ones (we have to keep those kids in line after all). Location TBA
and may even be moved outside if the weather is not like it
is today in the Steppes and Elfsea.

If there is anyone else who would like to teach a short
class for children at either Kingdom A & S or Steppes Warlord in May, please contact
me. I am talking about 30 minute classes, with perhaps time afterward
 for questions or an activity.

In particular I am looking for someone to teach a class
in Court etiquette and procedures, and have the kids act out court, give out
"awards, " etc. with the idea of teaching our young people
a little more about what goes on in Court so they will understand
it better. As a relative newcomer I am probably not the best
person out there to teach this class, but someone with a heraldry
or other background would be much better, or a Peer of the Realm.

I am always looking for a bard or two who could come teach
the children some songs of Ansteorra or other songs and do
some performing of fairly short pieces.

Please contact me if you have any other ideas for children's activities
that you would like to see implemented at upcoming events. I have
a new deputy and we have some great ideas, but we can always
use more.
