[Ansteorra-announce] [Announcements] From the Chairman of the Board of Directors - Quartery Meeting Addendum

Greetings to the populace of the Society from Aaron L. Lloyd, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

One of our corporate missions, as explained previously, is to cut costs wherever it is prudent. In 2009, we replaced one meeting via conference call. We had planned on holding the July 2010 meeting in a similar manner.

Unfortunately, there is pressing business that the Board and Corporate Officers must attend to in short order. Because of this, it was decided that instead of meeting via conference call, we would meet in person. While having a conference call was a worthy experiment that certainly saved funds, circumstances have arisen that will prevent it from working for this meeting.

Although we are meeting in person in Indianapolis, Indiana, we are still committed to keeping costs low as much as we possibly can, and are continuing in our efforts to lower operating costs and seek alternative sources of funding.

We look forward to seeing you at the July meeting in Indianapolis.  As always, comments on this or other topics can be sent to the Board at comments at sca.org <mailto:comments at sca.org>.
