[Ansteorra-announce] Torchlight Bear Pit and Hate and Discontent tourneys at the Celebration of Virtues!‏

Greetings Populace! 

 

I am pleased to announce that in
addition to the chivalric tourney on Saturday at Bryn Gwlad's Celebration of Virtues
there will be tourneys on Friday night and Sunday morning as well! That’s
right! Not only will you have the opportunity to show our virtue on Saturday
but also you will be able to test your mettle on Friday evening with the
Torchlight Bear Pit Tourney and again on Sunday morning at the Hate and
Discontent Tourney.

 

Dare you stand before all comers and
deny them the victory they seek? The Torchlight Bear Pit Tourney is a speed
bear pit with points being awarded for taking the field and for winning. This
tourney starts at 8:30 Friday evening! 

 

Hate and Discontent shall occur
after  "the party that shall
not be mentioned" is over and the last drops of mead have been
consumed.  Do you have the
intestinal fortitude? Do you have the stamina? Do you have a hangover that will
drive you to great feats of arms in the attempt to not receive a head
shot????  The Hate and Discontent
tourney is a sword/ buckler or single sword only tourney. This will be held in
a "Crown" format, single elimination best two out of three. This
tourney will start at 9am on Sunday morning!
