Thomas W. Hughes, President of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., has announced that the SCA Board of Directors is now accepting applications for the position of Media Liaison. Mr. Hughes writes:

The Board of Directors of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the position of Media Liaison.  The Media Liaison is the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.’s corporate spokesperson; appointed by the Board of Directors and reporting to the President of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.  This is an unpaid voluntary position with varying hours and requires strong attention to detail as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills.    Previous appointment as Kingdom Media Liaison is desired, but not required.

Qualifications for the position include excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and strong computer skills. Experience in a modern business setting, organizational ability and problem-solving skills are a must. Experience in a modern non-profit organization and prior experience at the Corporate or Society level of the SCA are desirable, but not required.
