[Ansteorra-announce] Winter Crown Tourney

Their
Stellar Majesties the King and Queen of Ansteorra—
Aaron, King, and Nicollet, Queen —
invite the populace of their kingdom to the
Seventy-First Crown Tournament,  
at which Their Majesties will name and invest
their Heirs Apparent.
The
Tournament will take place on Saturday, 11 January 2014, in the
Barony of Raven’s Fort at the HEARTS Veterans Museum in Huntsville,
TX. The physical address for the site is 463 State Highway 75 North,
Huntsville, TX 77320.
Their
Majesties request that Letters of Intent be delivered to them no
later than Monday, 6 January. Letters of Intent may be delivered to
4312 Clarno Drive, Austin, TX 78749, or to crown at ansteorra.org.  
Site
Fees: $10 per person, $5 ages 7-14, 6 and under no charge
(Non-Members will pay a $5 surcharge)
Make
checks payable to SCA Inc./Barony of Raven’s Fort.
 Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may
also attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and notarized
Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents. 
No
camping will be available, but hotels are available in
Huntsville.
Site
is DRY.
Gate
opens on Saturday at 7:00 a.m., and the site closes at 7:00 p.m.
The
Black Unicorn Tavern will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Preference will be given to placing period
pavilions adjacent to the lyst field. Contact Donnerwiggas Crawhere

Parking is available behind the HEARTS
Museum/Veterans’ Conference Center. Overflow parking is also
available across Highway 75 in the Kate Barr Ross Park front parking
lot and the Huntsville Emergency Building lot.  


Please do not park in front of the HEARTS Museum,
on the front right side of the museum, or in the Texas Prison Museum
parking lot. Those areas are reserved specifically for visitors to
the museums.
The HEARTS Museum and the Texas Prison Museum will
both be open for business.

Take Exit 118 off of southbound IH-45 north of
Huntsville
Turn left at the traffic light onto State Highway
75
Site is .5 miles down Highway 75 on the right.  


Directions Livingston, Houston, and College
Station:
Take Exit 118 off of northbound IH-45 north of
Huntsville
Turn right at the traffic light onto State Highway
75
Site is .4 miles down Highway 75 on the right.


Overflow parking is across the highway from the
site
in the Kate Bar Ross / Huntsville Emergency Center
parking lot.
