The Board of Directors would like to announce the appointment of Gigi Coulson, M.S. (Giata Magdalena Alberti, OL ) as Interim SCA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer.  Ms. Coulson  is an interdisciplinary sociologist and biologist with experience in both qualitative and quantitative social assessments, environmental  impact statements, and diversity initiatives, among other things.  Mistress Giata Magdalena Alberti is a late 15th-century Florentine living in Venice. whose hobbies include working on her herbal experiments, occasional hawking, mediating contests of skill and chance.   Ms. Coulson will hold the position until an official placement can be determined and may be contacted via Equity at sca.org.
