Good morning,



I have received many questions concerning how to implement the new laws:

·       Article II, Section 16 (previous Section 15), Subsection 1, A. 3
Added “d. To give feedback on potential Regional officers, who will be
responsible for appointing local officers within their lands, prior to
appointment”

And

·       Article III, Section 1, Added “C. To know the identity of and have
opportunity to give feedback on candidates for local positions within the
branch in which they reside.



After discussing this with Their Royal Majesties and Ansteorra’s Greater
Officers, these are the recommended procedures:



For Regional Officers, once Application Due Date has passed:

1)     The upline Kingdom Officer will send an email bcc’ing all the
territorial nobility providing a list of applicants (SCA Names)

(Bcc because if they reply all it does not go to anybody but you)

2)     Advise territorial nobility to send an email directly to you within
1 week with any feedback on the applicants

Once the week has passed, you can make the appointment as you feel is
appropriate



For Local officers, once Application Due Date has passed:

1)     The appropriate upline officer will post the compiled list of
applicants (SCA Names) to appropriate Social Media

(at this time, Facebook would suffice but other locations are allowed as
long as feedback can be turned off)

2)     Advise the populace to send an email to you with feedback within 1
week with any feedback on the applicants

3)     Turn off comments

If you have delegated the recommendation of appointments to your
regional/deputy officer, they can post for you.  Once the week has passed,
if there was not substantive opposition, you can make the appointment as
you feel is appropriate.
