[Ansteorra-announce] Changed: A Mundane ID is required for Gulf War XXXIV inspections

   Greetings. There is much turmoil over the change of enforcement for
   inspections at Gulf War this year. Please understand that the change is
   merely enforcement of a provision that has already existed, was
   reviewed and approved by the Gulf War Council, and is simply being
   enforced equilaterally. I understand that this is upsetting to some and
   there is the possibility that requirement may change in the near or
   not-so-near future.

    The Gulf War SOP is available on the event website at
   https://gulfwars.org/gulf-wars-standard-operating-procedures-sops/.
   This document is for all disciplines and was based SOPs that were
   already in place when it was reviewed and approved.

    For the Marshal in Charge document
   (https://gulfwars.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/MIC-SOP.pdf ) item 1
   identifies the requirement and putting it on a placard at the entrance
   to inspections.

   Please check the FB group and webpage for the event in order to keep up
   with this rapidly-changing ruling.

   Good morning. The final resolution is that a mundane ID is indeed
   required for ALL disciplines for inspections. Camp inspections will not
   occur. All inspections must be performed at Inspections Point by
   Hastings Field.

   As stated in my original posting for Gulf War XXXIV, for all
   inspections you must have your mundane ID, medallion, and authorization
   card. Please ensure that you have all these items before leaving camp
   to get inspected.
