I need some statistics -- Help!

I've been corresponding lately with a publisher and a question came up that
I don't have a good answer for.
How many people are in the various Living History and re-enactment
groups?
How many people are in the SCA and similar organizations?
How many people are involved in Crafts (ie, making stuff)?
How many are sufficiently involved to be interested in buying
reprints of obscure archaeological works and hard to find things
such as:
Macgregor, Arthur. Bone, Antler, Ivory and Horn: the technology of
skeletal materials since the Roman period.
Or the Medieval Finds from London Excavations series.
My initial assumptions are that although 90% of the populations of these
organizations are involved in crafts, not more than 20% would be interested
in such materials.
Comments? Figures?
