About New World items and using them in the SCA. Tha lag time was about 
100 years from formal introduction to common usage in Europe. This means 
many new world items were common by the end of our period, however not 
neccesarly in the form that we know them. Tomatoes were still belived 
poisonous by Ben Franklin's contemporaries. 
This will take careful research. But we do have some excuse for chocolate!
