Gnomevale First Tournament This Weekend

I would like to remind everyone on this list about Gnome Vale's *First* 
Tournament which is this weekend, Nov. 17-19, 1995.

They will be having heavy & light tournaments, a Bardic tourney, 
archery, knife & axe competitions.

There will be a tavern on site. And the feast will be roast boar & 
turkey, wild rice, green beans, honey glazed carrots, breads & butters, 
parsley-potatoes and sweets.  Feast fee is $7 adults, $5 children.

Camping is both *indoors* and outdoors at the Pittsburg County 
Fairgrounds located between McAlester, OK and the Indian Nation Turnpike 
on HWY 270. Site fee: $7 adult, $5 child (under 18). No more than $25 
for SCA Family. Nonmembers add $3 per person.

Weather should be around high 60's during the day & down to the 30's at 
night, but otherwise very nice.

For those people who aren't going to Elfsea's baronial A&S, this could 
be an alternative event that has the potential for a lot of fun.
