Well, no I don't actually. Our newsletter is printed free of charge for
us. But at only 120 copies of the newsletter, it is nothing to the
company involved. (They also do PTA, Boy Scouts and some other groups
for free.) Seems to me that it's a good idea for printing groups to do
Non-Profit Orgs for free so they can get a tax write off.

I do find most things with consistent fonts and the addition of printed
directions very useful. Personally I prefer some change in font for
headers to be good. (Be it larger, centered, bold or a font that stands
out from the page.) These are supposed to grab your attention.

Personally I use the same font throughout for the body of messages.
Occasionally I use a smaller font when it is appropriate to fit the
material and there is no loss of readability and it's not at all
willy-nilly. (The only time I've done this was this month with Cynric's
Shakespeare <-> Modern Translation subject.)

And I must admit that the newsletters I get copies of, the ones I find
"annoying" are the ones that don't use consistant fonts, not easily
read fonts, or bunch things together too much. I think whitespace and
artwork help make something more readable and enjoyable.

Anyone got Pagemaker 6.0 yet and tried to PM -> HTML yet? I'd like to
know if it works. I may end up pruchasing it just for this
functionality.

Yes, I am shamed. Unfortunately I wrote it at work and off the cuff, then
went home and checked and fount the price a lot higher than I would have
expected. (Guess it's time to actually start putting all these things in
my head that are supposed to be there.)

Ciao,
