I had a friend who went to one of the classes from the European School of
Design.  She was pretty impressed.  She also said to watch out for hidden 
charges, though.  The one video is free, but several others are pretty
costly.  They also try to get your membership in their school.  But then
again, for ten bucks, it might be worth the hassel.  They've got some 
interesting approaches to draping, and to designing your own patterns, and
their mundane ideas can be transformed to period patterns without too
much difficulty.  Good Luck!
