Runestones and gnomes

Except, of course, at relaying accurate information about the 
origins of Gnomon Vale.... :-) (she says wiping the mud off her face)

There is a lot of debate about the veracity of the runestone for 
good reason, but it's still a pretty cool thing to see.  Even if it 
is a hoax, I get a kick out of imagining somebody painstakingly 
carving it back when the area was still technically indian territory. 
Must have been somebody with a real sense of imagination, and 
wouldn't they enjoy seeing what their practical joke has turned 
into?!
