Just out of curiosity, who are you? I agree with your statement about debate.
If a position cannot stand up to question, it's not much of a position to begin
with. 

However, with the tone of the second portion of your message I was just
wondering if the omition of a sig. line was on accident, or on purpose.

I once heard someone say that praise and complaints are both equal if unsigned,
they both go in the trash.
