     I think it is a great idea to have someone in charge of PR, but if it
ended up having to be me, I am afraid that things might end up worse than not
having a PR officer.  I have absolutely no experience in PR, and I know that
many people in the SCA are in the same boat.  Maybe their lack of enthusiasm
for your proposal was because they knew that _they_ would not be able to
carry out that assignment.
