No, the quotations don't make it look like your words, in standard
Internet style.  Multiple levels of "> " mean that it's a quote of a
quote (of a quote ... as needed).

The text above says J'lynn Yeates wrote "> ".
Attributions have been stripped (sometimes a confusing or bad thing)
   for whoever wrote "> > ".  In fact, it was me.
The third level, "> > > ", doesn't appear.
Someone else entirely wrote the "> > > > " text.

Multiple levels of quoting can get confusing, so it's best to avoid
them and/or to keep attributions.
