Siobhan again.

Dr. Hall and others may be interested to learn that the Texas Legislature is
about to consider a bill that would make it illegal for health care
professionals to treat minors for STDs, birth control, etc. without
contacting their parents. Public radio here in Dallas had a rather lengthy
forum on the subject. Extending the traditional anti-condom argument to its
most absurd point, does this mean that refusing to provide confidential
treatment to minor for STDs keeps them from getting them?

If you are of a mind, please write to your legislator expressing your
opinion.

Fondly,
Siobhan
