Indeed. I have been fascinated by the Presidency since I was a small child.
By age ten, I could list all the Presidents from memory, and knew at least
something about almost all of them.

I've tried to learn, but I have had no success in identifying any person
who was at any time in their life a member of the SCA _and_ a holder of
elective office at any level, either consecutively or concurrently.

And after my disappointment with the results of the last presidential
election, I considered seeking the Republican nomination myself. Naturally,
what network would get me access to potential supporters nationwide? Why
the Rialto, of course! I imagined kicking off my "Put a Knight in the
White House" campaign on-line, with my 35th birthday at the end of July,
and then spreading from there to a more "mainstream" base.

Talk about silly.

- Galen,
who'll never be President, but
who's been both a Prince and a Kingdom Seneschal,
and so feels qualified for the presidency.
