Ok...I guess I can use this analogy....Have you ever seen the
Westminster Dog Show?  When it comes time to pick the "Best in Show"
there are 13 dogs in the ring...each a different breed.  What the judges
look for is not which dog is better than the other...but which dog comes
closest to the breed standard.  The one that is closest and has the
least number of 'faults' wins the competition.  The same can be said for
A&S.   The items are not judged against each other.  They are judged
against whatever standard the judge has for an A&S entry.
eg:  Was documentation included?  What materiels were used? What
techniques?   The problem we have in this kingdom...each laurel has
their own individual standards.  This may create inconsistencies in
judging.  After all...we are all human (grin)...
