          Hi Kat!

          Actually, later I believe the King said that he didn't
          realize Tor had held office, (he had been the Canton of Dun
          an Locha Ruiadh's Constable for some time), and that was the
          reason as well as it being a large list.  Mikael has never
          told Tor, (to my knowledge) that he couldn't fight crown, in
          fact, he seems to encourage it.  Richard may have had second
          thoughts, I'm not sure, but he did send for Tor to have him
          fight the bi with Duke Jonathon in the first round.  Tor
          really didn't expect to "win" Crown, however, he would have
          given it his best shot, and he would never fight if he
          didn't think he could financially or otherwise be able to
          uphold the office, we both feel very strongly about that.
          We were truly surprised that he wasn't allowed to fight it,
          but it was nothing to lose sleep over.
