Yes - as long as they are not one of the judges.  We don't expect a Knight
to spot fighting, or a Pelican to stop doing service.  just because they
are a knight does not always mean they will win (the same is true with a
Don).  


Also - it gives others the ability to see what this person is capable of
doing....why they were made a laurel.  It appears it is only the A&S arena
when the peer is discourage from continuing with the very item that made
them a peer.
