Greetings friends!

hmmm...you know, it might just be the drugs, but I can't help chiming in on this
one. Normally I try to stay out of the political pot-stirring.

I got two main points out of the post by Orm and Megan.

1. No matter where the new sword came from, the tradition of having the Lions
guard the sword between reigns and presenting it to the new Crown was not
maintained.

Not having attended Coronation of their Majesties Jean Ricard and Gladwn,
this was news to me.

2. They did publically accuse Kein and Alisha of being oathbreakers.

Now, Norse customs aren't my specialty, but I was under the impression
that there was no stronger insult or charge than oath-breaking. [Except perhaps
for calling a man sannsorðinn, but someone like Gunnora or Ulf would have to
confirm that for me.] I viewed this as a very serious accusation of Kein and
Alisha.

Gio.

p.s. sannsorðinn: someone who was the passive partner in a homosexual act.
