I'm reminded of an old _Tournaments Illuminated_ cover by Baron
Gregory von Lucida that depicted a a fellow in 17th-century english
court garb, with a fellow in 7th-century british garb, leaving a
gymnasium, walking past a sign reading "Tonight! Cavaliers VS.
Celtics!" The caption: "How was I to know it was just a bleeding
basketball game?!"
