What happened was that since Court was proceeding and it was getting
so late I decided not to make the platters.

This was why I cancelled the sideboard. It had been intended to
be used for snacks as the dancing and socializing was going on
but since Court was running so late and by the time it was finished
the hall was closing there wasn't a need for it. Also, it seemed that
everyone was full.

If someone had asked me for anything else to eat I would have
provided it. Even the cuskynoles and cheese toasts. We even had
the blowtorch in the kitchen ready to be fired up.

I really do appreciate these comments, because of the lack of servers
the feast was not served in the manner it was supposed to be and some
people got overlooked in the confusion. Mainly because of this I still
feel the feast failed and actually look upon it with some embarassment.

I made them as turnovers in wonton wrappers, they were to be boiled
and then griddled like pot-stickers. (Cuskynoles are fruit and nut filled
raviloli-type dishes for those who are confused.) They were very tasty
and I promise I'll make some in the future.

You will.
