Something I want to try the next time I'm called on to handle an
outdoor court: temporarily "swipe" one of the photo album thingies
many of the Steppes list mistresses have been using for helping
field heralds keep the pairings straight.

1. relatively weatherproof / spill-proof
2. keeps the cards in order even if the stack is dropped
3. keeps the cards not currently needed available but separated from
the current item of business

I dunno if this would work in addition to the folio / folder, but
the quick-ref card or outline script placed into sheet protectors
might be an alternative (add a grease pencil to mark completed
items, perhaps?)

Throwing out additional ideas, not yet fully court-tested...
