Very true. I've seen friends work for months on "The Perfect Feast",
only to have it delayed for almost two hours by a Circle. The food was
rewarmed twice, and came out either dry or mushy. I've watched the Crown
get dragged away from the Tournament field to deal with a few hours of
Kingdom Business, leaving the fighters to salute two empty chairs.

I agree with you on the issue. A long term solution will be difficult to
implement. We have some "Kingdom" Events that such business is or has
been conducted at: Crown, Coronation, A&S, King's Champion, Queen's
Champion, King's College, Kingdom Eistedfodd, Laurel's Prize. While not
all of these occur every reign, or even every year, many do. Maybe on
or more of these needs to be redefined.

We did. They pay well.
