Scribes is a volunteer-run, non-profit and moderated listserve which focuses
on the practice, art and business of lettering arts.

Messages are sent to SCRIBES at smtp.arcomva.com

Requests (see below) are sent to SUBSCRIBE at smtp.arcomva.com

UNSUBSCRIBE SCRIBES
INDEX SCRIBES  Returns a list of retrievable digests and text files.
REVIEW SCRIBES  Returns a  roster of all subscribers
SET SCRIBES DIGEST  Enables reception of SCRIBES mail in digest format
SET SCRIBES MAIL  Disables digest request
SET SCRIBES INACTIVE  Temporarily disables subscription
SET SCRIBES ACTIVE  Restarts subscription
GET SCRIBES (put file/digest name here, without the parantheses)
Retrieves specified file(s) and/or digest(s) from Index
E.g., GET SCRIBES scribes-digest-27 will retrieve  digest file 27.
