ANST - Scrolls

I should note that Ansteorra has two types of scrolls. I hope
that scribes will correct me if I err.

Technically, charters handed out in court are promissaries,
though the printing is neat enough and the illumination
decent enough that most people are satisfied.

You can request thru your local herald (that's
weasel wording: I don't recall the procedure) an Acievement
of Arms. Star Principal Herald says that you received
and this charter confirms that you received such-and-so
awards, and gives your registered ensigns armorial
(that is, your arms) plus any mantling, helm, mottos,
and other fru fru you may be entitled to and registered
in Ansteorra, as depicted in the margin.

This is a fairly period technique, modelled on the awards of
arms from Garter King of Arms in England.

- You don't track down the Crown, because it's a confirmation
- It's hand-done
- It actually has the arms you were awarded or granted
