Okay, I know it's tacky to reply to your own postings, but....

I've been checking out the articles on this page, and am regretting
forwarding it onto the lists without having attached a caveat or twelve.

So far, and to be fair I haven't read all the articles yet, most of the
essays on the website seem to be written without any regard for basic
documentation of sources. It's almost like reading 30 or 40 essays by high
school freshmen about the Anglo-Saxons.

It's kind of sad to see such poor quality from a group that claims to be
guided by Authenticity. I am positive that I would never get away with
publishing a similar article in this Kingdom. My laurel would beat me, my
friends would beat me, and Heaven Only Knows what Gunnora would do to me.
*grin*

So...I would suggest this as a nice starting place for those interested in
this time period, but not as any sort of gospel. As always, place your
trust in your own research and in primary sources when available.

*sigh*
