Greetings to Lady Aurorae and the Ansteorran list from Baroness Neassa

I'll try to be brief, but we do have so much that goes on in Stargate.
Lady Aurorae, you will probably be most interested in our Canton of
Westgate, which is most of SW Houston. However, many of the Baronial
meetings may not be too far away from where you live, and Gate's Edge is
also not as far away as it seems. For that matter we share a border with
the Barony of Loch Soilleir and they have many fine workshops that we do
not have. 

Also, in the lists below I have not added contact phone numbers. If
someone wishes to find one of our activities please contact me at (713)
983-9597, or our hospitaler, Sir Cian, at (281) 855-2269. It is now
11:30 at night, and far too late to contact all of my officers and guild
leaders to see if they mind if I put their home phone numbers up on the
list.

Of course, the easiest way to find out what is going on in Stargate is
to get a subscription to our Baronial newsletter, The Two Towers. The
following information is taken directly from the September Two Towers.

BARONY OF STARGATE: MEETINGS, GUILDS, AND WORKSHOPS
- Baronial populace meeting - 1st non-holiday Monday of the month at
Height's Public Library, corner of 14th and Heights Blvd. (September's
populace meeting will be 9/14 due to Labor Day).
- Baronial business meeting - 3rd Monday of the month at Lord Ihon's
home.
- Baronial fighter practice - Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm in Memorial
Park.
- Unofficial fighter practice - Wednesday nights from 7 - 10 pm at
Candlelight Park in Oak Forest.
- Equestrian practice - September's practice will be 9/27 from 8am to 1
pm. The date of this practice varies so please confirm date before
showing up.
- Heraldic consultation - 4th Monday's at Lord Manfred's home.
- Charter painting guild - 1st and 3rd Wednesday's at Vaclav and
Vasalisa's. Please call before coming.
- Baronial dance guild - Thursday evenings starting at 7 pm at Francois
and Perronnelle's home.
- Equestrian guild meeting - September's meeting will be 9/16 at Sir
Alexis' home in Loch Soilleir.
- Leather working guild - Please contact Lord Ambrose.
- Music guild - Temporarily on hold. Please contact Lord Gerald of
Leesville.
- Tapestry guild (painting) - 2nd and 4th Mondays at Mistriss Kaitlyn's
home.
- Teen's theater guild - For information contact the coordinator, Lady
Gillian.
- Weaver's guild - 1st and 3rd Wednesday's. Contact Lady Klare for
location.
- Armoring (with Lord Vaclav), brewing (with Lord Geof), bardic and
voice coaching (with HL Roger of York), and the herbalist's guild (with
Lord Vaclav) meet by appointment. Please contact the appropriate person.

CANTON OF GATE'S EDGE (NW HOUSTON): MEETINGS AND GUILDS
- Canton populace meeting - 2nd Monday at Northwoods Presbyterian
Church.
- Canton officers meeting - 4th Monday at HL Signy's home.
- Heraldic consultation - Contact the herald, Lord Steafan.
- Arts and Sciences - Contact Lady Simone.
- Canton dance guild - Sundays at 2:00 pm at Oaks Presbyterian Church.
- Clothier's guild - Contact Lady Meredydd of Dolphin's Keep.
- Fighter practice - Chivalric is at Centurion Mu's on Wednesdays;
Contact HL Signy for rapier practice.
- Archery practice - Contact Lord Talmon Willbanks.
- Herbalist guild - Last Monday of each month at Lady Annes' home.
- Scots Gaelic guild - 2nd and 4th Mondays at Lord Ihon's home.

CANTON OF WESTGATE (SW HOUSTON): MEETINGS AND GUILDS
- Canton populace meeting - 2nd Wednesday of the month. Contact Baroness
Hillary for location.
- Cooking guild - Contact Lady Lyonette.
- Scribes & Illuminators guild - 3rd Tuesday of the month at Lady
Suzanne's home.
