Greetings unto the Populace of Ansteorra!

Baron Leofric  Ealdricson and  the populace of Loch Soilleir invite one and all to join with us as we celebrate the investiture of Lord Ulsted the Unsteady and Lady Cateau D’Ardennes as Baron and Baroness.  This will take place at our annual Loch Guardian, May 14 through 16 at Lake Houston State park.
 
There will be Chivalric, Rapier, Static  A&S, and Bardic competitions to select our Baronial Champions.  The A&S competition's theme this year is 'Loch Soilleir'.  All entries should feature some aspect of Loch Soilleir (for instance - Loch colors, water, serpents... etc.)  Please contact Lord Broeghan for details about the Bardic competition.    

A Challenge battle will also be fought and each Barony, Shire, Canton,
etc. is encouraged to send a chivalric champion to vie for prizes,  honor,  glory, and bragging rights (not necessarily in that order). 

A sumptuous feast will be served by Lady Narkissa Ekaterina Vladimrova
that will include roasted beef and vegetables ,shrimp and May salat and assorted breads and butters followed by baked apples for dessert. Reservations are strongly recommended.
 
Site opens at 5 Friday afternoon and closes at noon on
Sunday. Merchants are welcome but must call autocrat to reserve space in advance. Site fee $7.00 Feast $5.00.  
There is a limited amount of communal Cabin space available for this event but
you must reserve in advance, $30.00 for the weekend pays for cabin space site and feast. The cabin has showers and a small kitchen.  
Pets are allowed on leashes only.
