My own meager experience with calligraphy was trying to write well enough to sign
awards without ruining the beautiful work of the scribes and illuminators who had
worked for hours to make it beautiful. I am left-handed, so I could never make my
calligraphy look like the samples, (I pull when everyone else pushes, etc.) Mistress
Rose kindly encouraged me. I don't have any grand ideas, though I am hoping some of you
might.
