First, let me apologize if my words seemed harsh.

Second, to answer His Excellency's question:  with all due respect, no.  I 
think my statement is an accurate characterization.  I did not call the lady 
a fool, nor did I accuse her of ignorance.  I merely noted that the usage 
she suggests will give said unsavory impression.
