Precisely.

As well as organizational skills, people-handling skills, knowledge of
Kingdom,Baronial,Shire, and Household traditions, not to mention, it would
give the potential Crowns an appreciation for a tough job.

Sure, sitting up there for an hour or two during court looks easy.......If
you think it is, then perhaps you should volunteer to help a steward, be a
stunt-herald, join an entourage (Kingdom or Baronial).  Even better, sign up
for clean-up and putting away after an event.  That's when the real peers
and nobles show up, current and future.
