Lord Talon of Blackoak commented about my message on resuppling archers on
the combat field:

Yes, I think this is a good thing to do. I still wonder if an organised
effort would not be worthwhile. If the archers were indeed firing arrows
at 5 per minute, then the time it takes to go to the edge of the field
to pick up more arrows or wait for an impromptu resupply effort could
mean substatially less arrows being fired in the direction of our foes.

If you are borrowing arrows from your fellow archers, and they too are
shooting at 5 per minute, this just means you all run out that much
quicker. Although if there was a resupply system, this would probably
be the way to overcome momentary glitches.

And if more people could be offered the chance to feel a part of the war
effort, I think that alone could be worth it.
