ANST - Gulf War Dates

I think the real problem here is that when we were given the first dates, we 
were so elated we wouldn't have to take our kids out of school an extra week 
next year or miss the war, many of us already started making plans. Then the 
word comes, and at first the reaction is "Oh No, I hope that's not true" and 
the excitement starts to fade as we accept the fact that we must once again 
make the decision. And then major frustration. Maybe we can make a special 
request next year that the year 2001 be held with us in mind. Maybe we can 
negotiote with them next year about the dates for the following year. Maybe 
we can start to hope again. Or at least get the bad news before we have 
started to hope. Instead of complaing about next year, lets see if we can get 
in on the planning on the following year or something.
