hmmmm ... still "performance / ceremonial centric" ... maybe now that the door 
has been opened a bit it can later be widened to enclude carry by those who 
find steel a cultural imperative. ... being keltoi by descent, the leaf bladed 
shortsword would be covered, might be a stretch to cover the wakisashi's though 
(my favored "sidearm")
