My first ever war event, was a Grand Outlandish.  This was about 10 years 
ago.  They were going to allow combat missle weapons, ie bows.  They were 
using golf tubes as ammo.  Yet I did see one female fighter, who was a 
slinger, she was using tennis balls.  They make a nice sound when they 
bounce off of aluminium shields.
