ANST - Gulf War reports

This is the first time I've heard this about the War and I've gone to all of
them.  The running line at this year's war was " what are they going to do
to keep us from wining THIS year?"

I agree with Clarissa as do a lot of other people.Pennsic has a winner every
year and it doesn't stop anyone from coming back. There were winners the
first two years of GW till this stupid tie thing started and I can tell you
from listening to the populace it isn't something that well liked.

Huh?  Pennsic always has a winner and they always manage to come back
next year. I don't get this reason at all.  Having a winner is just part
of the fun. I would much rather have a winner than have a tie, even if
that winner was not Ansteorra! What's the purpose of points if there is
no winner? I have to deal with political correctness every day at my
son's school where winning or being outstanding is 'bad' and I don't want
to have this in the SCA.
