The Coxcomb Academy of the Performing Arts, formerly Pennsic Fools'
Academy, formerly Henry's Daily Juggling Practice, is entering its fifth
year of existance. In celebration, and because it's what we do anyway,
we are hosting a full symposium of classes at Pennsic. Classes will run
from 10 AM to 5 PM or later every day and will cover topics such as
juggling, conjuring, storytelling, commedia dell arte, audience
psychology, busking, improvisation, history, and research techniques.

We will finish Friday afternoon with a variety show in which anyone who
has attended the daily rehearsals is free to participate. That's right:
all you technical jugglers and conjurors and whatnot who have never
performed, we are fully set up to support your first time. We will coach
you over the course of the week and get you up on stage in front of an
audience that's kind and generous to first-timers. We'll even have
professional entertainers in the program to warm them up for you.

Full information is available at http://coxcomb.org

Special call to CONJURORS:
In consideration of conjuring's special need, unique among the arts,
for secrecy, Coxcomb Academy is sponsoring a Conjuring College, deaned
by Matthew Christopher. You will see a special meeting listed among our
classes for Tuesday evening. Entrance requirement is the demonstrated
ability to perform two magic tricks competently. Save time by taking
your exam in advance at Coxcomb Academy morning sessions.

Do you have props you don't want anymore? Bring them to sell or
trade. Do you have a trick you can't quite figure out? Bring it for
help. Do you have a trick you are particularly proud of? Bring ..... ok
you get the idea.

Thank you for your time and attention,
        Dr. Henry Best, OP
        Chancellor, Coxcomb Academy
