Greetings,
I usually budget about $100-150 for my Lady and I per event. I'm afraid gas prices will probably hurt the merchants more than us. Now instead of having $50-100 left once we're there there's maybe $50 left for Merchanting. Ofcourse I haven't minded that now that the truck's broken in it's gone from 15MPG/City to 17MPG. I can't wait to see what Highway miles are like. That was at 20MPG when it was new.
It'd be nice not to spend 2 Yuppie Food Stamps on a fillup. Oh for the days of my tweaked out Altima. 23MPG/City and I could just eeek out 30MPG/Highway.
I felt a lot better about our Gas Prices when I found out gas was $0.80 back in Nova Scotia where I'm from. IIRC, that C$0.80 a litre or US@$2.10 a gallon? Ouch.
