     Just thought I'd share this with the rest of Ansteorra. We at Elfsea
have been discussing what Chivalry means to us. Smile, it could be worse. So
he smiled and, sure enough, it got worse.

Chivalry:  to go beyond

To go beyond thinking about oneself, but to look around at what needs to be
done.
To go beyond what is happening, but to ensure it is good and just.
To go beyond the offer of help, but to do it before it needs to be done.
To go beyond the goal.
To go beyond, despite praise or the lack of it, because......

It is not only the realm of the knight, or the male to be chivalrous.  It is
to go beyond gender or age or skills.

It is the effort to try.
