Across the lake (to the east) from Castle Greystone is a campground with
a hall and kitchen, cabins and tent camping areas. The castle across the
lake would make a nice backdrop for an event

We stopped to check with them about an event and while they seemed
unwilling to negotiate their $15/head camping fees (tent or RV), the use
of the hall was a flat fee and not contingent on camping. They also have
lake access and a tiny golf course.

Another site that might be suitable for a non-camping event is Rafter
Seven Ranch near Burlesson. They do weddings, parties, etc. In a
telephone conversation, they were very willing to accomodate our typical
activities including a list field bu no overnight camping.

though I have not idea what they would charge.
