[Ansteorra] Too many events?

I can't say much to a), but I know that B) and C) have more to do with drive
time and re-coupration for me. Right now I am in school full time, but when
I was working a regular job, the best I could expect to get on site on
friday was around seven or eight for most events, and that is assuming it
was one that was close. By the time that I roll on site after dark, figure
out where my camp is, get set up, and then just find out who all is there,
I'm not interested in doing much else for Friday night. When Sunday rolls
around, I was usually am up late on saturday partying and barding (is there
a difference?). By the time I get up, all I want to do is get packed and out
of there, because I know I have to get home, get unpacked, and get
everything cleaned up before I can take care of whatever has to be done at
home...add that to the fact that many if not most events are 2-3 hours
drive, and trying to do anything on a friday night or sunday becomes hard.
A lot of the time you end up with just the folks who are local to the event
wanting to participate. Anyay, my point being that I think the reasons for
lack of stuff to do on friday night or sunday has more to do with the needs
of getting on and off site than with too many events. I happen to like
having lots of events available to go to...I never have to worry about
sitting home bored on a weekend. One of the things I really love about the
SCA: there is always something to do! <g>

For the Dream,
