Being a woman with two small children I have also noticed a reluctance
for people to offer assistance. I am sorry but several times I have had
my infant, Toddler and two or three bags in my arms and no one offer
assistance. Men who weren't even talking, but just standing around
watching the event unfold. I did not have the ability to stop and ask for
help without dropping something or someone in the mud. Now I am not
saying that it never happens that I am offered help, but it has become
much more rare.
