I agree wholeheartedly!

I admit I'm guilty, I don't have my membership yet (though will have it as
soon as I get a few more bills squared away). So here's an opinion from a
non paying member.

I don't mind paying the $3 extra and I think it's a wonderful idea! Like
what was discussed, this could keep our membership costs down and in the
long run ensure that are game is still here for future generations of
SCAdians.

Come on folks! There are no other societies out there that allow you to play
without a membership card on you. Check out the National Civil War Society
sometime...their dues are sky high compared to ours (a family membership is
close to $100/year and they don't allow children under 12 to play in the
battles),

I also agree with Gilli that maybe $1 could stay here in the Kingdom...it
could really help pay for the loss we have on the Blackstar.
