[Ansteorra] Bringing New People...

Ok have your hospitaler bring clothes to the event... If you see new folks in mundane clothes.. go get them something the first time, take it to them, say, "Here put this on." Explain "the only requirement for participating is an attempt at Medieval Clothing."

In Loch Ruadh they have clothing they actually give to the new person with the instructions that they return it when they have acquired some garb of their own. They say most times it comes back very quickly.

Also make an attempt to get their their contact information and write it down. Give it to the hospitaler. We all should be hospitalers.

If they refuse to wear the garb, take it off, make a big stink, ask them to leave.

Also have a talk with the person bringing the new people and explain how it should work. Make sure he/she knows the hospitaler. If they don't, make the introduction yourself, take the hospitaler with you.

There is no need for anything to get ugly... Just provide them with something to wear... That's part of the hospitaler's job and everyone else who plays.
